Tehran: Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has
ordered a direct strike on Israel following the assassination of
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, according to a report by
the New York Times. This decision was made during an emergency
meeting of Iran's Supreme National Security Council on Wednesday
morning, shortly after Iran announced Haniyeh's death.

Background and Reactions

Haniyeh's assassination, for which Iran and Hamas have
blamed Israel, occurred during his visit to Tehran for the
inauguration of Iran's new president. Israel has neither
confirmed nor denied involvement in the killing. This act has
intensified tensions between Iran and Israel, which have been
engaged in indirect conflict for years.

Iran's Response and Military Strategy

Iran's response may involve a combination of drone and
missile attacks targeting military installations around Tel Aviv
and Haifa while avoiding civilian casualties. This strategy is
under consideration to maximize impact while minimizing the risk
of escalation.

Khamenei has instructed military commanders from both the
Revolutionary Guards and the army to prepare for potential
retaliatory measures and defense in case of further conflict
involving Israel or the United States.

Regional Implications

This incident highlights the fragile balance of power in
the region. Iran's "axis of resistance," which
includes Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis in Yemen, and various
militias in Iraq, could see increased coordination against
Israeli interests.

LifeBahn's Perspective

At LifeBahn, we believe that while competition can drive
success for a few, collaboration is a more effective way to
achieve success for many. This principle applies globally,
especially in conflict resolution. Working together towards
mutual understanding and peace can lead to a more prosperous
future for all.

In fact that’s what LifeBahn’s ‘<a

introduced the notion of institutions.

sending over one million polio vaccines to Gaza, aiming to protect
thousands of children from potential infection. This proactive
measure comes as the virus was detected in sewage samples, raising
alarms about a possible outbreak.

<img data-fileentryid="327078"

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasized
the urgency of this intervention, noting that while no polio
cases have been recorded yet, it is crucial to act immediately.
Children under five, particularly infants under two, are at the
highest risk due to the disruption of regular vaccination
campaigns caused by ongoing conflict.

Poliomyelitis is a highly infectious virus that spreads
mainly through the fecal-oral route. It can invade the nervous
system and cause paralysis. Thanks to global vaccination
efforts, polio cases have declined by 99% since 1988. However,
the virus remains a threat, particularly in areas with
compromised sanitation and health infrastructure.

In addition to polio, Gaza is facing a surge in other
health issues like Hepatitis A, dysentery, and
gastroenteritis, as sanitary conditions continue to
deteriorate. Sewage spills near camps for displaced people
are exacerbating the situation, making the WHO's
intervention even more critical.

The global effort to eradicate polio must continue with
unwavering commitment. The WHO's initiative to send over one
million vaccines to Gaza is a vital step in protecting
vulnerable children and preventing a potential outbreak. This
highlights the importance of proactive health measures and the
need for continuous support to regions in crisis.

After an 18-month wait, Ukraine is set to receive its first
F-16 fighter jets from NATO member states. President Volodymyr
Zelensky has emphasized the importance of these jets in
countering Russia's aerial dominance and "unblocking the
skies" for Ukrainian forces.

The anticipation for the F-16s comes with significant
challenges. Russian forces have been targeting Ukrainian
military airfields, and there are concerns about the safety of
these valuable jets. In July alone, airfields in Myrhorod,
Kryvyi Rih, and southern Odesa were attacked, raising fears that
the F-16s could be destroyed shortly after their arrival.

Historically, Ukraine's air force has relied on dispersed
operations to protect its warplanes, frequently moving planes and
equipment to avoid being hit. However, the F-16s require smooth
runways, which may expose them to Russian surveillance and missile
attacks.

Russia has enhanced its surveillance capabilities with
drones like Zala, Supercam, and Orlans, which provide real-time
images from inside Ukrainian territory. This technological
advancement has made it easier for Russia to target Ukrainian
airfields effectively.

Despite these challenges, the arrival of F-16s is seen as
a crucial development. These jets will bolster Ukraine's
defense capabilities, working alongside Western-supplied
surface-to-air missile systems like Patriot and NASAMS. The
F-16s are equipped with AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles,
which can self-guide to targets, providing a significant
advantage over Ukraine's current Soviet-era aircraft.

Ukraine's military strategy involves using the F-16s for key missions:

Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD): Taking out
Russia's surface-to-air missile systems.

Air Interdiction: Disrupting and destroying Russian ground
forces.

Defensive Counter Air (DCA): Protecting Ukrainian
territory from Russian aircraft and missiles.

The effectiveness of the F-16s in these roles depends on
their protection and maintenance. The jets need secure airbases
and efficient logistical support to remain operational. While
the F-16s won't single-handedly turn the tide of the war, they
are expected to make a significant impact in both aerial and
ground attacks.

The deployment of F-16s marks a pivotal moment in
Ukraine's defense strategy. The success of these jets in the
ongoing conflict will hinge on their protection and
effective use in coordinated military operations. The hope
is that the F-16s will enhance Ukraine's air defenses and
help push back Russian forces, ultimately contributing to
the broader goal of securing the nation's sovereignty.

stupid do you think we are” we noted how the American people
have been played by the politicians, especially Trump’s Republican
party. And we concluded that over 30,000 lies over the 4 years,
Trump has fooled us in so many ways. And we acknowledged

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on
me!

The American people are getting fed up with these
shenanigans and in the face of real problems that hurt them and
their families, they are now paying attention and getting
educated and finding out that you and Trump, the players, are in
part, if not the whole, responsible for the problem. Yes, we are
getting GREAT and real education, about the facts of life, and
about getting played.

So we will be fooled no more and as painful as it might
be, we will look at the different ways we were played not
just by Trump but by many other politicians and others in
whom we had put our trust, only to be betrayed again and
again.

Let US count the ways in which thou has tried to fool me
!!!!…..

Count # 1:

Here are some facts;

A new report by the Heritage Foundation's Nonpartisan
Commission on China and COVID-19 found that the COVID
pandemic caused $18 trillion in economic losses to the U.S. and
placed blame for the outbreak on the Chinese government.

The report noted
there were 1,476,457 excess deaths in the U.S.
from 2020 to 2022 during the height of the pandemic.

Another report shows that 573 people became new
billionaires during the pandemic, at the rate of one every 30
hours. We expect this year that 263 million more people will
crash into extreme poverty, at a rate of a million people
every 33 hours.

<img data-fileentryid="316924"

YeP! You fooled us all right!!! While people were dying
and suffering, you and “your merry men” were ut there raking it
$$$$ in hand over fist. If that is your definition of GREAT
America, we DONOT want it.

Of course as usual, you will deny it and blame everyone
but yourself. That is typical BULLY behavior.

Now I know something about this situation as I was
diagnosed with covid in Nov 2020, during the very early part
of Covid. One of the most traumatic times for not just the
American people but people all across the globe, Trump’s
administration were out there during that time claiming
success after success in dealing with pandemic, blaming it
on the chines, to deflect attention and taking credit for
creating the vaccine, while the real need was for a cure as
people were dying right left and center, and your witch
doctors were touting stupid cures like bleach etc. in the
early stages when majority of the deaths were occurring.

Fortunately for me , I was in Moscow, yes Russia, as a US
embassy employee, and ended up in the only Russian hospital
equipped to deal with covid. I was told that there are only two
ways out of the hospital, in a bag or testing negative. To cut
to the chase, the focus of the Dr.s in that hospital was to
find a way to save the patients . And in my case while exploring
all sorts of cures, including plasma, the most promising of the
possible cures, they realized that actually it was my own immune
system which was attacking my lungs because it could not
differentiate between the good guys and the bad guys. So they
decided to slow down my immune system and within 3 days I was
fine and the next day tested negative and left. I wonder what
would happen if I were here in the US. Now that is just one
example of mishandling of the Covid crisis, at least as far as
the general public is concerned in terms of lives lost and the
economic damage to

There is another old saying ; you can fool some of the
people all the time, those are the ones Erasmus was talking
about, you can even fool all the people some of the time; buy
you cannot fool all the people all the time.

The only thing you may be remotely right about is that the
SWAMP needs cleaning; as you are the swamp.

There has to be a better way ! there is, and it is quite
simple actually! Ignore you!.Bullies hate nothing more than
being ignored! But you knew that. Except that now we are wise
to it also.

Count # 2 next post.

Meanwhile, the American people are now paying attention
and getting educated and finding out that you are in part, if
not the whole, responsible for the problem. Yes we are getting
GREAT and real education, about the facts of life !!

In Fact that’s what LifeBahn is all about. Making a better

One of the most striking quotes from Erin Burnett of CNN's
OutFront is, "How stupid do you think we are?" This
question perfectly captures the sentiment many Americans feel
about today's political landscape. Burnett, along with
journalists like Jim Costa, Jake Tapper, and Anderson Cooper,
has consistently provided insightful and unbiased reporting.
Unfortunately, this standard contrasts sharply with the
performance of others in the media, such as Tucker Carlson and
Scott Jennings, who seem to blur the lines between reporting and
partisanship.

The Issue at Hand

This blog explores the central issue behind Burnett’s
quote: the disregard for truth and fairness by some
political figures and media personalities. These individuals
often believe they can mislead the public without facing
consequences, undermining trust and exploiting the inherent
belief in fairness.

Historically, figures like Erasmus noted that those lacking
talent often make up for it with increased arrogance, attracting
supporters despite their lack of substance. Today, this
arrogance is evident in the actions of some politicians and
media figures who appear to believe they can repeatedly deceive
the American public without repercussions.

The Reality Check

According to The Washington Post, former President Donald
Trump made over 30,000 false or misleading claims during his
presidency. This staggering number highlights a broader issue of
systemic misinformation. The focus should not just be on the
volume of lies but on the pervasive nature of deceit.

The American public must critically assess these misleading
narratives. Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s line, "How do I love
thee? Let me count the ways," can be adapted to reflect the
numerous ways the public has been deceived. The continuous
misrepresentation must be addressed.

The Path Forward

As Americans become more aware of these manipulations, they
are turning to education and critical thinking to navigate
modern politics. This awareness is crucial for holding leaders
accountable and ensuring trust is maintained.

Kamala Harris’s anticipated candidacy marks a significant
change in leadership, reflecting the evolving nature of American
politics and the demand for genuine representation and
accountability.

we delved into Wealth Management, focusing on interest rates,
growing your wealth, and the importance of simplicity in
decision-making. This update highlights our key learnings and
what’s next on our journey to financial literacy.

Last Sunday, we explored the 'LIFE PROCESS' for a clearer
understanding of wealth management. The focus was on applying the
timeless principle of KISS - "Keep it Simple, Stupid" - to
both personal finance and the complex world of US politics. By
simplifying our approach, we can make smarter decisions about
managing and growing our wealth.

In a move that has dramatically altered the landscape of
the 2024 US Presidential race, President Joe Biden has ended
his re-election campaign and endorsed Vice-President Kamala
Harris as the Democratic candidate. This unexpected decision
comes amidst a tumultuous period in American politics and
has significant implications for the upcoming election.

<img data-fileentryid="303938"

Biden’s Decision and Its Impact

Announcing his decision in a written statement on Sunday,
the 81-year-old president described serving as the greatest
honor of his life but concluded that stepping down was "in
the best interest of my party and the country." Biden's
withdrawal follows a challenging debate performance against
Donald Trump on June 27, which raised concerns about his
coherence and overall fitness for office.

Kamala Harris Steps Up

Vice-President Kamala Harris, 59, has expressed her
gratitude for Biden's endorsement and pledged to "earn and
win this nomination" while uniting the country against
Trump. Harris's campaign now faces a critical 107-day sprint to
election day, with many high-profile endorsements already in her
corner, although her official nomination will not occur until
the Democratic National Convention in August.

Trump's Resurgence

Meanwhile, a resurgent Donald Trump has pulled ahead in
polling and secured the Republican nomination at the party's
convention in Milwaukee, just days after surviving an
assassination attempt. Trump wasted no time in criticizing
Biden's decision, declaring the president "not fit to
run... and certainly not fit to serve." Senior Republicans
have echoed these sentiments, calling for Biden to leave the
White House immediately.

Democratic Unity

The announcement has sparked immediate reactions from
senior Democrats. Former President Barack Obama, Senate Leader
Chuck Schumer, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have all
praised Biden's decision and highlighted his accomplishments.
High-profile figures like California Governor Gavin Newsom and
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg have also thrown their
support behind Harris, signaling a growing consensus within the
party.

Challenges Ahead

Despite these endorsements, Harris faces an uphill battle.
The Democratic National Committee has already filed to amend the
names of its fundraising committees to support Harris, and major
donors like LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and investor
Alexander Soros have publicly backed her. However, the pro-Trump
super-PAC campaign fund Make America Great Again has quickly
launched attacks on Harris, claiming she "covered up Joe's
obvious mental decline."

Biden’s Final Remarks

In his statement, Biden expressed his deep appreciation for
Harris, calling her an "extraordinary partner," and
thanked the American people for their faith and trust. He
reiterated his belief in the potential of the United States,
emphasizing the need for unity. "We just have to remember
we are the United States of America," Biden stated.

Moving Forward

The Democratic National Committee held an emergency meeting
following Biden's announcement, and all eyes are now on the upcoming
national convention starting August 19. Delegates initially pledged
to Biden are expected to be released to support another candidate,
likely Harris, as the party seeks to consolidate its position ahead
of the November election.

A Lifebahn Perspective

In these uncertain times, it's important to remember the
power of resilience and collaboration. While competition is a
good way to succeed for a FEW, collaboration is a BETTER way to
succeed for MANY. The current political landscape is a reminder
that unity and collective effort are crucial. As Biden steps
down and Harris steps up, the Democratic party's ability to
unite and work together will be pivotal in shaping the future of
the nation. Let's take this lesson to heart in our own lives,
striving for cooperation and mutual support in all our
endeavors. Together, we can navigate the challenges ahead and
build a brighter future.

And the real lesson to be learnt here is any one who causes
division and creates conflicts, especially for their own personal
are the real danger. It could be republicans or democrats. It just
so happens that there are many more in the republicans as that has
been their MO, under Trump. Divide and rule. But there are many
Trumps in the democratic party as well. On the top of that list is
Senator Manchin. He could be the future Trump of the democratic
party. The democrats need to take away the attention from
themselves and focus on the existential threat to democracy posed by
him. Let there be no mistake, any one who distracts from that. such
as Manchin, is responsible and should be held responsible, should
Trump win.

hours, was filled with numerous claims about his record as
president versus Joe Biden's. BBC Verify has fact-checked some
of these statements to separate fact from fiction.

Are Crime Rates Rising?

CLAIM: “Our crime rate is going up, while crime statistics
all over the world are going down.”

VERDICT: Violent crime in the US fell last year.

Mr. Trump did not specify what kind of crime he was
referring to. According to preliminary FBI data, violent crime
was down 6% in 2023, and there was a significant drop of 13% in
the murder rate. Although these statistics aren’t a complete
picture, as some local police departments have not yet submitted
their figures, the official FBI figures for last year will be
released in October. The latest preliminary FBI crime data
indicates this downward trend in violent crime in the US has
continued into 2024, with reported incidents falling 15% in the
first three months of this year compared to the same period last
year. Recorded murders dropped by more than 26% in the same
period.

Is Inflation ‘the Worst We’ve Ever Had’?

CLAIM: "We've had the worst inflation we've ever had
under this person [Biden]."

VERDICT: Under President Biden, inflation reached around 9%
before falling to around 3%. That's nowhere near the worst in
history - the record was 23.7% in 1920.

Inflation rose significantly during the first two years of
the Biden administration, hitting a peak of 9.1% in the year to
June 2022. This was comparable with many other Western
countries, which experienced high inflation rates in 2021 and
2022 due to global supply chain issues as a consequence of Covid
and the war in Ukraine. However, some economists argue that Mr.
Biden’s $1.9tn (£1.5tn) spending plan in 2021 was a contributing
factor. Since then, US inflation has steadily fallen, with the
latest monthly figure at 3% as of June.

Mr. Trump also claimed, “we had no inflation” under his
administration. When Mr. Biden came to office in January 2021,
inflation was low at 1.4%, but prices were still rising.

Did Trump Leave "a World at Peace"?

CLAIM: “Our opponents inherited a world at peace.”

VERDICT: There were dozens of conflicts globally in the
last year Mr. Trump was president, according to experts.

Mr. Trump followed this claim by saying the world was now a
"planet at war," highlighting the current conflicts in
Ukraine and Gaza. While these conflicts didn’t occur during his
tenure, claiming he left “a world at peace” is incorrect. In 2020,
the last full year Mr. Trump was President, there were 56 active
conflicts globally, according to the Peace Research Institute in
Oslo. Eight of these were classified as wars, including those in
Syria, Afghanistan, and Yemen.

Did Trump Make the Biggest Tax Cuts Ever?

CLAIM: “The biggest tax cuts ever.”

VERDICT: As President, Donald Trump did bring in
significant tax cuts, but they weren’t the largest in
history.

Mr. Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 introduced
sweeping cuts to taxation across the board, which are due to
expire in 2025 unless the next administration extends them.
According to analysis by the independent Committee for a
Responsible Federal Budget, Trump’s tax cuts were the
eighth-largest since 1918 as a percentage of the size of the
economy (GDP) and the fourth-largest in dollar terms since 1940,
adjusted for inflation. Although Mr. Trump didn't introduce the
largest tax cut overall, he did pass the largest corporate tax
cut in US history, reducing the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%.
This was a more significant cut than the one passed under Ronald
Reagan in the 1980s, which lowered the rate from 46% to 34%.

The US Election Shell Game

As we fact-check and analyze these claims, it becomes
apparent that the political landscape often resembles a shell
game. The Global News, especially in the US, is all about the
upcoming Election – it’s all about Biden, Trump, the RNC, and
various claims spun every which way but the reality. In this
election shell game, the American people, the voters, are the
mark. The campaigns and the political system are the dealer. The
media, the so-called experts, and everyone else are the
unintended shill. The stakes are the taxpayers' money, the
treasury. To date, this shell game has cost each and every
American over $103,000. This is a fact and the only fact that
matters.

The only winners in this shell game are the dealer and
perhaps some of the shill. The mark doesn’t stand a chance of
winning. The best the mark can expect is to NOT lose. And the
only way to do that is not to get involved in the game in the
first place. Unfortunately, in the US Election shell game, that
is not an option. In this election, the best we can do is to
lose the least. This unfortunately depends on the times.
Sometimes you lose more with the Republicans, and other times
with the Democrats.

The LifeBahn Perspective

AutoBahn is a road for cars in German, and LifeBahn is the
path to prosperity for people. Through the LifeBahn lens, we see
only human beings. We are blind to socialism, capitalism,
sexism, racism, or any other -ism, except humanism. We believe
that while competition is a good way to succeed for a FEW,
collaboration is a BETTER way to succeed for MANY.

The US election and its shell game are clear examples of
why we need collaboration over competition. In the midst of
all the political maneuvering, it’s the American people who
lose. But through collaboration, we can change the game.
LifeBahn is committed to teaching the lessons of collaboration,
where everyone prospers together.

Let’s join LifeBahn and see if we can collaborate and come
up with a sustainable solution for our future.

In the midst of a heated election season, many influential and
intelligent voices are calling for President Joe Biden to step down.
These individuals often express their fondness for Biden but convey
a deep-seated concern about the potential re-election of Donald
Trump. Ironically, by making Biden the focal point of their
discourse, they might inadvertently be aiding Trump’s campaign. This
phenomenon illustrates how well-meaning critics can
become unwitting participants in a political shell game.

<img data-fileentryid="303832"

The Real Issue: Voter Manipulation

The true focus should be on educating and informing the
voters. The electorate needs to understand that they are being
manipulated. They must be made aware of the reality behind the
glittering promises and the harsh truth that lies beneath.
However, there’s no certainty that voters are prepared to handle
the truth. Many prefer the comforting illusion that they are
receiving something for nothing, all while accumulating more
debt, losing freedoms, and leaving a diminished country for
future generations.

Despite the discomfort that the truth may bring, it is
essential that voters are forewarned. Continuing to participate
in the political shell game does a disservice to their followers
and shirks their own responsibility to the public.

The Swamp and Its Denizens

One of Trump’s recurring themes is the need to clean out
the political swamp. Yet, it’s worth noting that he and his
allies are often seen as part of the very swamp they decry. This
is reminiscent of a story from my childhood. My mother, one of
the smartest women I know despite not being a high school
graduate, once pointed out that the loudest person accusing
someone of theft in our street turned out to be the thief
himself. This scenario parallels the current political climate
where Trump, who claims to be a reformer, may indeed be part of
the problem.

Shakespeare's famous line from Hamlet, "The lady doth
protest too much, methinks," captures this perfectly. It
suggests that those who vehemently deny something might be
hiding the truth. This concept is relevant when evaluating
Trump’s proclamations and actions.

A Simple Analysis for Voters

For the average American, known for their sense of justice
and fairness, the key is to apply this critical thinking to
Trump. A few straightforward questions can shed light on the
reality:

Is Trump a white supremacist? He appears to be a Trump
supremacist who leverages the support of white supremacists for
his gain, only to discard them when convenient. His treatment of
former allies like Governor Christie, VP Mike Pence, and Rudy
Giuliani demonstrates this pattern of use and discard.

Is Trump truly for the American people? The evidence
suggests that he has consistently used and abused his
supporters. The fallout from his administration has left many
former allies in legal trouble, indicating a pattern of
questionable conduct.

The Company One Keeps

The old saying, “birds of a feather flock together,” is
pertinent here. The disproportionate number of Trump’s former
associates facing legal issues, including Trump himself, speaks
volumes about the moral fabric of his administration. A humorous
yet telling graphic might capture this perspective, highlighting
the moral dilemma at the heart of the issue.

Trusting the American Voter

Political pundits, experts, and politicians should place
more faith in the American voters. There is a strong belief that
the electorate will rise to the occasion for the younger
generations, steering American democracy back on course towards
real prosperity. By rejecting Trump and his allies, including
the likes of two-faced Haley and other hypocritical Republican
Senators and Congressmen, voters can make a significant
impact.

Let common sense prevail in this election, and may the
voters make informed decisions that benefit the nation’s
future.

The LifeBahn Perspective

AutoBahn is a road for cars in German, and LifeBahn is the
path to prosperity for people. Through the LifeBahn lens, we see
only human beings. We are blind to socialism, capitalism,
sexism, racism, or any other -ism, except humanism. We believe
that while competition is a good way to succeed for a FEW,
collaboration is a BETTER way to succeed for MANY.

Let’s join LifeBahn and see if we can collaborate and come
up with a sustainable solution for our future.

According to Wikipedia, another form of shell game is:

Three-card monte – also known as find the lady and
three-card trick – is a confidence game in which the victims, or
"marks", are tricked into betting a sum of money on
the assumption that they can find the "money card"
among three face-down playing cards. It is very similar to the
shell game except that cards are used instead of shells. In its
full form, three-card Monte is an example of a classic
"short con" in which a shill pretends to conspire with
the mark to cheat the dealer, while in fact doing the reverse.
The mark has no chance whatsoever of winning, at any point in
the game. In fact, anyone who is observed winning anything in
the game can be presumed to be a shill.

In the US Election shell game, the election itself is the
three-card monte. Instead of finding the queen, you are finding a
President. We, the American people, the voters – are the mark. The
campaigns and the political system are the dealers. The media, the
so-called experts, and everyone else are the unintended shills. The
stakes are the taxpayers' money and the treasury. It is as simple as
that – and to date, this shell game has cost each and every American
over $103,000. This is a fact and the only fact that matters.

The only winners in the shell game are the dealer and
perhaps some of the shill. The mark doesn’t stand a chance of
winning. The best the mark can expect is to NOT lose. And the
only way to do that is not to get involved in the game in the
first place. Unfortunately, in the US Election shell game, that
is not an option. It is not a game you cannot play; even if you
abstain, you are still in it. In this election, the best we can
do is to lose the least. This unfortunately depends on the
times. Sometimes you lose more with the Republicans, and other
times with the Democrats. The last President to balance the
budget, or even come close, was Bill Clinton. Among all others,
the debt has been skyrocketing, more so during Republican
tenures than during Democratic ones.

The only SOLUTION for future generations to survive and get
ahead is to change the game. That is a discussion for another
time. At this time, suffice it to recognize the problem. The
REAL Problem!

While the world sees what it is MEANT to see, through the
LifeBahn lens, we see what we NEED to see. Just another shell
game.

Not everyone understands the shell game. So, perhaps an
explanation of what a shell game is will be very helpful in
putting the rest of this post in context.

The LifeBahn Perspective

AutoBahn is a road for cars in Germany, and LifeBahn is the
path to prosperity for people. Through the LifeBahn lens, we see
only human beings. We are blind to socialism, capitalism,
sexism, racism, or any other -ism, except humanism. We believe
that

while
competition is a good way to succeed for a FEW,

collaboration
is a BETTER way to succeed for MANY.

The US election and its shell game are a clear example of
why we need collaboration over competition. In the midst of all
the political maneuvering, it’s the American people who lose.
But through collaboration, we can change the game. LifeBahn is
committed to teaching the lessons of collaboration, where
everyone prospers together.

Let’s join LifeBahn and see if we can collaborate to come

Tragedy at Trump Rally Upends Election Campaign

On July 13, 2024, a shocking event unfolded at a Trump
rally in Pennsylvania, fundamentally altering the course of
the 2024 election campaign. The moment that will be etched
in history is that of Donald Trump, standing with his fist
raised, blood streaked across his face, moments after
narrowly avoiding serious injury or death from an assassin's
bullets. Amidst the chaos, Trump's rallying cry,
"Fight! Fight! Fight!" spurred a reaction from
supporters who moments before had feared for their
lives.

Impact on American Psyche and Political Security

This violent incident punctured the veneer of security
surrounding presidential politics. The assassination attempt
highlighted that even former presidents are not insulated from
the everyday violence that can erupt in American life. It has
left a lasting mark on the American psyche, underscoring the
vulnerability at the highest levels of politics, despite
measures like magnetic screenings, bulletproof limousines, and
heavily armed Secret Service agents.

Presidential Response

In a rare address from the Oval Office, President Joe Biden
called for Americans to cool the temperature around the
political debate. He emphasized that political discourse should
never become a battlefield or a killing field, urging restraint
and denouncing violence.

Partisan Reactions and Blame

The attack has intensified America's partisan dialogue.
Numerous Republicans have condemned President Biden and the
Democrats, accusing them of fostering a rhetorical environment
conducive to violence. They point to Biden's recent comments
about increasing attacks on Trump's record as examples of
overheated language that could inspire an assassin. Donald Trump
Jr. stated that after multiple attempts to undermine his father,
it seems as if some would welcome such an attack.

Uncertain Motives of the Assailant

The motives and political affiliations of the alleged
assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, remain unclear, potentially
defying an easy partisan narrative. However, Trump's supporters
have used the incident to deflect criticism about the former
president's culpability for the January 6th Capitol attack,
suggesting that those on the left can no longer accuse him of
inciting violence.

While this incident has undoubtedly upended the campaign,
it is uncertain whether it will have a lasting impact on the
election outcome. With three months remaining until election
day, the political landscape could shift once again. What is
clear is that the narrative can change in an instant, and both
campaigns will need to adapt swiftly to these developments.

LifeBahn Perspective

Amidst the aftermath of the tragic events at the Trump
rally, where blame and competitive rhetoric have intensified,
LifeBahn's mission gains even greater relevance. At LifeBahn, we
observe both sides pointing fingers and escalating tensions,
showcasing the inherent pitfalls of intense competition in
political discourse.

Why Collaboration Matters

Competition, while occasionally driving individual success,
often fosters division and animosity. It perpetuates a zero-sum
mentality where one's gain is another's loss, creating a cycle
of conflict and polarization. In contrast, collaboration
transcends these limitations. It fosters unity, encouraging
diverse perspectives to converge towards common goals. By
working together, individuals and groups can achieve collective
success that benefits everyone involved.

Looking Ahead: Hope and Leadership

Moving forward, it remains to be seen whether leaders like
Trump can transcend partisan divides and lead with a spirit of
collaboration. Will they prioritize unity over division, seeking
common ground and collective progress? The answer to these questions
will shape the future of our nation and our ability to navigate
challenges together.

Join the LifeBahn Community

The Shell Game: A Deeper Look

The shell game, in its many variations, is a timeless example of
deception and manipulation. In this version, known as Black Maria, the
game involves three playing cards, with one of them being the Queen of
Spades. The dealer manipulates the cards, while the audience places
bets to guess the location of the Queen. The simplicity of the game is
deceiving, as the actual practice is far more complex and orchestrated.

A Real-Life Encounter with the Shell Game

Many years ago, I had an office on the 11th floor of 71 Broadway,
a building featured in the movie "The Paper." From my
office, I could see down onto Trinity Church and along Broadway.
Across the street, near the Wall Street Subway station entrance, I
witnessed a shell game in action.

A man would set up a makeshift table with a milk carton and a
piece of cardboard. He placed three cards and a stack of dollar
bills on the table. Spectators, including a woman with a baby
carriage, a man with a cane, and a couple of youngsters, began
playing the game. Occasionally, someone would win, prompting
excitement and cheering from the crowd. These winners, however, were
part of the dealer's team, designed to lure real targets, known as
pigeons or marks.

These unsuspecting players, often tourists or young
professionals, never stood a chance. Even if they guessed correctly,
they were unlikely to keep the money. In one instance, a winner was
chased off by the dealer when someone yelled "police."
This individual was intercepted and relieved of their winnings by a
team member. Over time, I could recognize the different team
members, even if they played varied roles.

Elections: The Ultimate Shell Game

Reflecting on this, it seems that we are constantly part of some
sort of shell game, especially during elections. In this analogy, the
voters are the pigeons, the candidates, and their teams are the
dealers, and the media and pundits are the enablers. Everyone focuses
on the contest but loses sight of the real stakes—our tax money.

In its most basic form, an election is about choosing a group,
led by a candidate, to manage our money (taxes) and make responsible
decisions to improve our lives. The key criterion for choosing a
candidate should be their responsibility. In the 2024 election,
considering the national debt and track records, this decision should
be straightforward. Discussions about Biden’s age or his occasional
name mix-ups are mere distractions, with the media playing into the
hands of the dealers.

The LifeBahn Perspective: Collaboration Over
Competition

At LifeBahn, we observe both sides blaming each other and
escalating competition. This highlights the need for LifeBahn's
mission to teach the lessons of collaboration. Competition might help
a few succeed, but collaboration helps many.

In the context of the recent political climate, it is clear that
the solution lies in unity. Leaders need to transcend partisan divides
and work towards common goals. Collaboration can bridge gaps and
foster a more cohesive society, promoting resilience and shared purpose.

AutoBahn is a road for cars in Germany, LifeBahn is the
path to prosperity for people. Through the LifeBahn lens, we
see only human beings. We are blind to socialism,
capitalism, sexism, racism, or any other -ism, but we
embrace humanism. We believe that:

While
competition is a good way to succeed for a FEW,

Collaboration is a BETTER way to succeed for MANY.

Progress and Updates

As outlined in our State of LifeBahn - Update #1, we've
been posting almost daily on our blog, LifeBahn.org, about
global elections, respective national debts, and their impact
and relevance to us. This is our second update.

Weekly Sessions

We live-streamed the second of our 52 weekly sessions,
allowing for a much broader audience. We are thankful for the
positive response and comments in the chat and thereafter. Many
audience members found the section on wealth management and
money, specifically related to credit cards, very useful. While
this session focused on how not to lose money, the next session
will focus on how to GROW money. And no, this has nothing to do
with growing weed!

Despite a few minor technical difficulties with sharing the
PowerPoint, the session on what life is, what success is, and how to
measure it, specifically the Life Process to better understand life
and our environment, went according to plan. The golden life lesson
#2, “Pay now or pay later; later is always so much more expensive,”
fit very nicely with the first part of the session about money and
resonated well with the audience. For Golden Life lesson #3, join
the next session.

LifeBahn Community

To put into practice the collaborative rather than the
competitive mindset, our global virtual community, LifeBahn.net,
is now available for FREE membership. All one has to do is sign
up and get full access to the community to learn how it
functions and how you can benefit from it.

Call to Action

Now, since this is all about collaboration, while we are
building the community for the benefit of all of us, and since,
as they say, strength is in numbers, we need your help in
growing the community to make it stronger. If you believe in
this philosophy and would like to help, all you need to do is
join the community, learn all about it, and if you agree and are
comfortable, invite others who might benefit from it to join. It
is that simple.

Thank you for being a part of LifeBahn. Let's continue to
learn, grow, and prosper together.

The Debt Dilemma

In our last post, we defined a dilemma: in our global
economy, the increasing national debt across the globe is
hurting us beyond measure. All of us, families, no matter where
we live, are simply trying to provide for our families and help
them prosper. Wealth is a key component of that prosperity.
Wealthy is when our income is greater than our expenses,
allowing for disposable income to invest and grow our
wealth.

We decided to heed this wake-up call and took the first
step of acknowledging that we are in big doo-doo! Next, we
said we would look at a few countries to see if the same
pattern emerges, determine why this debt is increasing, and
find ways to achieve disposable income for investment,
growth, and prosperity.

A Global Pattern of Increasing Debt

This week, we examined the national debts of the US, UK,
France, and Russia. Additionally, we looked at the national
debts of China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. A pattern is emerging:
regardless of the type of government or who we elect to manage
our money, we are constantly let down, and our national debt
keeps increasing.

The point is not that we have debt; the issue is that it is
constantly increasing. To test the hypothesis that a country's
prosperity is tied to its increasing debt, we looked at countries
with some of the best standards of living, such as Switzerland. What
strikes you immediately is that their debt is pretty steady; it rose
slightly early on but has since decreased to a manageable level.

Unmanageable Debt: A Path to Economic Disaster

This confirms that increasingly unmanageable debt is a path
to economic disaster. Manageable debt is essential debt that you
have the ability to pay back over time, such as a mortgage. It
is when the debt is unmanageable that we get into a downward
spiral, which is often impossible to get out of, as many
Americans are finding out at their peril.

This is how most prosperous families function. They have
essential debts, such as mortgages, and maintain a reserve for
emergencies. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances
beyond their control, such as health issues, they incur
additional debt but pay it back as soon as possible. In fact,
one of the lessons in our "A Lifetime of Education in 52
Weeks" program is: "Pay now or pay later; later is
always much more expensive."

Learning from the Global Debt Crisis

What can we learn from this, and how can we use it to our
benefit? A Pakistani artist has perfectly and beautifully
captured this dilemma in an image labeled “Pakistani system –
Pakistani Nizam.” Those who have plenty, much more than enough,
are further fed by those who have little and are constantly in
debt, getting deeper.

Hence the growing prosperity gap between the 1% and the
99%. Most would look at this picture and say the big bad guy
is taking from the poor. It is so much easier to blame
someone else for our troubles.

The LifeBahn perspective is: why is this poor man feeding
the big fat guy who already has his hands full? This is the
conundrum we need to solve. In the LifeBahn community, we
believe that:

Anything GOOD happens to me, I have done it. Anything BAD
happens to me, I have done it.

This simply means that we are all responsible for our
actions and no one else. This is what being human means. Now,
let's be clear – this is not easy. Taking responsibility for our
actions is the hardest thing. But then again, prosperity doesn’t
come easy. In the 1960s, during the peak of American growth and
prosperity, when America decided to go to the moon, JFK when
asked about taking on such a hard challenge, replied, "We
are going to the moon not because it is easy but because it is
hard."

Taking Responsibility and Control

So, in our LifeBahn community, we choose to take on the
hardest challenge of all – taking responsibility and control of
our own life and destiny. We start this challenge first by
acknowledging that we are in a big doo-doo, as we have done in
this blog. Next, we learn how to succeed in life through GREAT
education and finally develop and practice a collaborative
mindset to help each other succeed.

In fact, our “Lifetime of Education in 52 Weeks” program
does exactly that for families. It teaches how to prosper by
increasing wealth, understanding our environment, and learning
from past lessons. This 52-week program is free. It is online
with the next session on July 14 and every Sunday thereafter at
10 AM EST (NYC) and 4 PM CET (Madrid). To reserve a spot, go to
edugreat.org.

Conclusion

The bottom line is that understanding the global debt
crisis and taking responsibility for our actions are crucial
steps toward prosperity. By learning from past lessons and
adopting a collaborative mindset, we can help each other
succeed. Remember: in a competitive environment, only a few
succeed. Collaboration is the better way

Collaboration is a BETTER way to succeed for MANY.

The Russian Election and Its Global Impact

Recently, Russia held an election where Vladimir Putin was
re-elected with over 87% of the vote. There are claims that the
election was rigged, but regardless of the electoral process, the
important question is whether this is a better choice for Russia.
Does this election have an impact on the rest of the world, and if
so, is it positive or negative?

To assess whether this is a better choice for Russia, we
need to examine the country's economic health, specifically its
national debt. Ignoring other societal issues like unnatural
deaths due to pandemics, wars, military crackdowns, or murders,
we focus on economic indicators.

Economic Overview: Russia's National Debt

Surprisingly, the story remains the same: the country is
getting deeper into debt. While the projections might not be as
dire as in some other nations, the debt continues to grow.

Having looked at the US, UK, French, and now Russian
elections, a pattern emerges. No matter who we elect to manage
our money and help us achieve prosperity, we are constantly
being let down, regardless of the country. In our interconnected
global economy, the collective debt of some of the most
prosperous countries should be a cause for concern. This
suggests that, collectively, as humans on this planet, we are in
debt. And this is just from a wealth perspective; we haven't
even considered issues like global warming.

Understanding Our Global Dilemma

Before we jump to conclusions and decide to "throw the
bums out" (as some wise person once suggested about
politicians), let's fully understand our collective global
dilemma.

Defining the Dilemma

All of us, no matter where we live, are simply trying to
provide for our families and help them prosper. Wealth is a key
component of that prosperity. Wealthy is when our income is
greater than our expenses, allowing for disposable income to
invest and grow our wealth.

Clearly, if we are constantly in debt, we are not achieving
prosperity. Instead, we are failing in our main objective of
achieving prosperity for our children and leaving them worse off.
This is a reality check and should be a wake-up call.

Finding the Right Solution

Before we panic and start making rash decisions, let's
analyze the problem to find the right solution. The first step
is acknowledging that we are in a significant predicament.

Next, we will look at a few more countries to see if the
same pattern emerges there. We will then explore why this debt
is increasing and how to achieve disposable income.

In fact, our “Lifetime of Education in 52 Weeks” program
does exactly that for families. It teaches how to prosper by
increasing wealth, understanding our environment, and learning

Conclusion

The bottom line is that learning how to use your vote
effectively involves understanding what, not who, you are voting
for. Even though it might seem that under certain
administrations, we are better off economically in the short
term, we must consider the long-term effects, especially on the
next generation, which will inherit a deeper debt.

Remember: In a competitive environment, only a few succeed.
Collaboration is the better way.

Collaboration is a BETTER way to succeed for MANY.

French Election and Its Impact on the US

Recent news highlighted an interesting development in the
French elections. While it appeared that the far right was going
to win in the first round of voting, the leftist coalition
actually won in the final election.

This event may not seem relevant to most of us, but like it
or not, this election, just like the US election or any other
national election, affects all of us. The dynamics and their
impact on us are very similar to those we discussed in our
previous posts on July 4th and 5th. These elections, although
portrayed otherwise, are not really about the individuals or
parties but rather about how they spend our resources,
specifically monetary resources - our tax dollars. In today's
globally interconnected and interdependent world, how each
country spends its money affects other countries, especially as
"defense spending" accounts for much of the budget of
most countries

National debt in France from 2019 to 2022,

with forecasts up to

Understanding the Debt Dynamics

The chart on the right shows the French debt as it has
steadily increased and is projected to increase through 2029 –
which simply means how much more money than its income the
government has borrowed. In this case, Macron and his party, the
centrists, are more like the Tories, and the Left coalition is
more like the Labor Party.

If we look at it simply, the left is the equivalent of
Democrats in the US and Labor in the UK, and the right is like
the Republicans in the US and the Tories in the UK. If we
peel

away these labels, it boils down to the left representing
the workers, and the public, and the right representing the
employers

and industrialists. We like to simplify it even further to
the oppressors and the oppressed. This perspective will help us
understand various elections across the globe.

Simplifying National Economics

If we look at each nation’s economy the same way that we
look at our own individual and family economy, it becomes much
more understandable rather than getting bogged down in the
nitty-gritty of economics, which only serves to confuse us.

Our family economics are very simple. We have income,
usually wages for most families, and we have essential and
non-essential expenses. If our income is less than our total
expenses, we have three choices:

Increase our income somehow (usually a
second job)

Reduce our
non-essential expenses

Borrow money (usually CC debt) – which is the easiest but the
most expensive solution.

It doesn't take Einstein to figure out that if you keep
borrowing money, all you are doing is digging a bigger hole for
yourself. If you know someone in this situation, what would you
advise them?

Effective Voting: Understanding What You Are Voting For

So, why would we elect someone to manage our money who will
get us deeper in debt? Unfortunately, this seems to be the trend
in most countries. Governments keep increasing our debt to make
themselves look good and make us feel better, while only a few,
usually the already well-off, enjoy the benefits of this higher
debt. Frankly, no matter whom we elect, they are all getting us
deeper into debt. The choice we have is to determine who will
hurt us less. In the UK's case, it was clear that over the last
14 years, the Tories were doing the country the most harm,
especially under Boris (mini-Trump) Johnson with Brexit.

The bottom line is learning how to use your vote
effectively by understanding what, not who, you are voting
for. So, for me, even though under the Republicans or Tories
it might appear that I am better off economically in the
short term, I will, in fact, be worse off, especially the
next generation, as they will be deeper in debt.

Remember: In a competitive environment, only a few succeed.
Collaboration is the better way.

Just as ‘AutoBahn’ is a road for cars in Germany,
LifeBahn is the path to prosperity for people. Through the
LifeBahn lens, we see only human beings. We are socialism-,
capitalism-, sexism-, racism-, or any other -ism but
humanism-blind.

We believe that:

While
competition is a good way to Succeed for a FEW,

Collaboration is a BETTER way to Succeed for MANY.

The UK Election and Its Global Impact

According to CNN, Sir Keir Starmer of the Labour Party won
the UK elections against Rishi Sunak, the head of the Tory Party
and the then Prime Minister of the UK, making him the most
powerful person there. While this event may not appear relevant
to most of us, like it or not, this election, just like the
election in the US or any other national election, affects all
of us.

We can play ostrich by burying our heads in the sand and
ignoring its effects, or we can try to understand its impact on
us so that we can manage this change to our benefit or at the
very least minimize the harm this change might do to us. This
notion of change management, described as life itself, is
discussed in our ‘Lifetime of Education in 52 Weeks’
program.

The Dynamics of Political Spending

In fact, the dynamics and their impact on us are very
similar to those we discussed in the previous two posts on July
4th and 5th. These elections, although portrayed as such, are
not really about the individuals or the parties but rather about
how they spend our resources, specifically money—our tax
dollars. In today’s globally interconnected and interdependent
world, how each country spends its money affects other
countries, especially as defense spending accounts for much of
the budget of most nations.

The chart on the right shows the UK debt as a percentage of
its GDP, which simply means how much more money the government
has borrowed than its income. Notice that until about 2010, the
borrowing was modest, and just before 2010, it spiked. After 2010,
it went out of control. So what happened in 2010? The Tory
government has been in power since 2010 and has been spending money
like a drunken sailor. Much of this spending has benefited the 1%
much more so than the other 99%. This pattern is very similar across
the globe; the only difference is which country’s 1% takes greater
advantage of the 99%.

Or simply put, in which country does the 99% get clobbered
the most? Clobbered is putting it mildly; robbed blind might be
a more appropriate term.

The Purpose of LifeBahn

The purpose of this blog, the ‘Lifetime of Education in 52
Weeks’ program at edugreat.org, and lifebahn.net, our virtual
global community, is not to argue politics, religion, or any
other topic but rather to learn about all these things and
understand their dynamics so that we can better manage these
changes.

What we understand, without going into greater details and
nuances—the politics of it—is that when conservatives, republicans,
tories, or any other authoritarian groups are in power, the 99% get
clobbered much more than otherwise. The only control/power the 99%
have in some places is elections. However, they rarely get to
exercise that power properly. In many countries where there are no
elections, such as various dictatorships, though these are
decreasing in number as people become more educated and embrace
democracy, progress is unfortunately not fast enough. Even in
countries with democracy, this power is compromised through outright
force or various other manipulative techniques, so that the 1% keep
getting richer and the rest keep getting poorer. Yes, it is by and
large a zero-sum game, although it doesn't have to be.

Using Your Vote Effectively

The bottom line is to learn how to use your vote
effectively by understanding what you are voting for, not
who you are voting for. For me, even though under the
Republicans or Tories it might appear that I am better off
economically in the short term, I and my family, especially
the next generation, will, with a few exceptions, be worse
off.

Remember, in a competitive environment, only a few succeed.
Collaboration is a better way.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Stay tuned for
more insights through the LifeBahn lens as we continue to
explore and understand the world together.

State of LifeBahn - Update #1

Launch of the GREAT@ Academy

On July 4th, inspired by the Independence Day celebration of
freedom, we also launched our GREAT@ Academy with its first
introductory program, "A Lifetime of Education in 52 Weeks."
This one-year, cost-free program is for anyone who ‘wishes to do
better’ at whatever it is that they aspire to. The first session was
on July 4th, and all subsequent sessions will continue on Sunday, July
14th, at 10 am EST (NY time), which is 4 pm CET.

This education program is one part of a three-part initiative to
build a virtual collaborative community to put into practice its
founding principle and to help the other 99% do better and perhaps
reduce the prosperity gap, aligning with the LifeBahn core mission.

A Pakistani artist/activist posted this picture under the banner
”Pakistani System”. But we believe this captures the essence of the
global state of affairs and hopefully is a stark reminder that we
should keep right in the very forefront as inspiration.

Strategy and Plan for Success

The strategy and plan for the success of this mission consist of:

1- Maintaining this blog: Every Sunday, the post will be an
update on the state of the LifeBahn community. Saturday will be a
day off, and the other five posts during the week will look at
current events through the LifeBahn lens to better understand the
REAL impact of these current affairs on our lives.

2- Delivering the 52 weekly sessions: Wealth Management: Learning
about money, a key component for making our lives better.

The Life Process: Understanding life and our environment better,
which will help us live better.

Life Lessons: Sharing 52 most relevant lessons learned over the
years that have helped make life better, hoping they will help you too.

3- Building & Growing Enterprises: Collaborating within the
community to provide value to the world, generating wealth for
LifeBahn, which will be shared among its members in proportion to
their contributions. This is not socialism but a fair system.

Current Status: The State of the Community

We have taken the first step, which is often the hardest. Now, we
learn to do better by learning from each other and helping each other
succeed in common missions.

Challenges and Fixes:

1- Registration Process: Many people who were invited could not
attend the inaugural session because the registration process was too
cumbersome, inconvenient, and confusing. This has been fixed on the
new edugreat.org site.

2- Fees Confusion: There was confusion about the fees. Even
though the sessions are FREE, it appeared that people were being
asked for money. This too has been fixed. The clarification is that
while the courses are free, there is an opportunity for those who
find this mission valuable and would like to contribute to the
community. Absolutely NO OBLIGATION.

This concludes today’s update number 1. If you have questions or
require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our
support team, and we will do our best to respond.

Thank you for your time.

Welcome to the launch of the LifeBahn blog! We are excited
to bring you the first of our daily posts, exploring the world
through the LifeBahn lens.

Just as ‘AutoBahn’ is a road for cars in Germany, LifeBahn
is the path to prosperity for people. Through the LifeBahn lens,
we see only human beings and are color-, gender-, sect-,
socialism, capitalism-, sexism, racism-, or any other -ism but
humanism, blind.

We believe that:

While
competition is a good way to succeed for a FEW,

Collaboration is a BETTER way to succeed for MANY.

An important topic relevant to humanity in the current
affairs of today’s world is the upcoming US elections and the
choice of the American people between Donald Trump and Joe
Biden. We will look at it from a human perspective, not with any
political, religious, or other biased point of view.

This is how we understand this contest, a conflict of
ideologies between democratic values and modern-day republican
values. Based on the divide within the Republican Party, it
seems that values and the guiding principles of the Republican
Party are changing compared to those of the Ronald Reagan
times.

However, if you watch the coverage in the media, not social
media, which is even worse, and listen to the experts, they
discuss so many issues and aspects of this election that your
head would spin. This is exactly the intent: to keep our
attention diverted from the main issue, which is to choose a
president who is good for the whole country as well as the world
based on who is BETTER for US.

This is a typical shell game, also known as the three-card
monte. This game is really simple. A guy stands behind a table
with three seashells and one pearl, which is under one of the
three shells. The guy lifts one of the shells and shows you the
pearl. He then picks up the shells and the pearl, juggles them,
and places them on the table with the pearl hidden. You can bet
money to guess where the pearl is, and if you are right, you get
the pearl and keep the money or you lose the money. Obviously,
anyone who thinks they are going to win the pearl or any money
on any of these shell games is really naive. So it is with
casinos and most political contests.

The SMART thing to do is not to get involved in these shell
games. However, in the case of elections, you have no choice
because we are involved, not in the election process but its
outcome. So whether we like it or not, the AMERICAN election in
November affects all of us. It MATTERS if Donald Trump gets
elected or not. It is unfortunate, and frankly un-American, that
the election has become about Donald Trump rather than any
ideology, which is exactly what he wanted.

But when we cut through all the hype and the noise and the
crazy stuff he does (deliberately), we see that it is simply a
shell game at which he is a master. When you get to the core of
the election, you will see that it is simply about the haves and
have-nots, the employers vs the employees, the 1% vs the 99%.
Let's be clear, this is not to suggest that Donald Trump
represents the 1% and Biden & the Democrats the 99%. No! The
whole political institution has evolved, not accidentally,
towards the corporate and industrial complex. The only question
is who takes advantage of the common people the most.

Donald Trump, by far, does the most damage to the common
folk than does Biden or the Democrats. And the math behind it is
not that complicated; once you cut through all the bullshit!

Let me illustrate. Imagine that you are barely making ends
meet and get an unexpected bill such as a health emergency. And
you are presented with two options:

1- One friend offers a credit card, which you can use
immediately and pay back later.

2- A second friend offers a job opportunity with a possible
advance.

The second friend is a REAL friend. The first one is a
classic case of who needs enemies with friends like that. The
first one is not a friend at all but rather a wolf in sheep's
clothing. Why? Because with a credit card at a 24% interest
rate, all you will be doing is digging a deep hole that will be
very hard to climb out of. If you have friends like that, dump
‘em quick!

Unfortunately, most people will probably opt for friend
number one. A really big mistake!

This is exactly the same choice all Americans have in the
next election: vote for Trump, the Republicans, or any other
person. Unfortunately, at the moment, the only real option is a
Democrat, the lesser of the two evils. This is why?

Why do people vote for Trump? One is a group of well-off
people, with disposable income invested in the stock market and
also because they are the employers, they get tax breaks so
overall it is good for them economically. The stock market does
well during Republicans and there is plenty of free money in tax
breaks and low-interest rates.

The other group is one who thinks they are getting a tax
break as well and feel economically better, but that is because
the country is borrowing more money, this is the credit card
offered by the first friend. Guess who has to pay off the
country's debt, which incidentally is almost 35 trillion
dollars. In other words, each of us Americans owes over $103,000
in addition to any other debt we might have. How many of us earn
enough to pay off this debt?

Now you don’t have to be Einstein to figure out that you
need to have a salary of over $103,000 to have the slightest
chance of ever paying off this debt. What do you suppose is the
average family income in the US, the richest nation on the
planet? Ready!!!!!!!

You do the Math!

The reality is that during the Republicans' rule, the debt
goes up, and during the Democrats, it goes down. The last time
the US was debt-free was in 1835. I think the last time the
budget was balanced was during the Clinton era. Whereas during
Republican times, the debt keeps going up. Between 1980 and
1990, the US debt tripled – these were the Republican, Reagan
& Bush presidencies.

LifeBahn perspective – In one of our weekly sessions of the
“education continuum’s” program for a lifetime of education in 52
weeks – we share a key life lesson:

“Pay Now or
pay later — Later is so much more EXPENSIVE.”

While all the pundits, experts, political analysts, and the
media, regardless of which channel, Fox, CNN, etc., are all
talking about the stupid debate, or who should replace Biden or
even the trials of Trump, they are not doing service to the
people who rely on them to give them accurate information on
which to base their election decision.

They are all becoming an instrument of the system and part
of the shell game!

All they have to do is to tell the truth – that electing
Republicans is to increase debt by making the rich richer and the
poor more indebted so that they are even more dependent on the jobs
that are controlled by them.

It is not that the people are incapable of making smarter
decisions, but rather that they are misled into making decisions
that are harmful to themselves economically and personally.
Through the LifeBahn lens, things are a little clearer and help
us make Smart Decisions.

And based on this chart above, do we need to burden
ourselves with more debt or be smart and elect a Democrat and
hold them to account for reducing the debt, while the
Republicans get their act together and truly start looking after
the whole country, not just the rich and stop being divisive
while pretending to be making America great again, which it
already is.
