Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers about LifeBahn, GREAT Academy, Education 2.0, and how our community helps members toward self-sufficiency and prosperity.
What is LifeBahn?
LifeBahn is a virtual community where people help one another succeed by sharing knowledge, experience, and resources. Its mission is to support its members on their path toward self-sufficiency and prosperity.
In German, AutoBahn means a road for cars. So LifeBahn means the Path to Prosperity.
What is the goal of LifeBahn?
LifeBahn aims to help people build a better life by encouraging collaboration instead of competition, and by promoting self-reliance and self-sufficiency.
Members collaborate with each other to generate value for the community, and this value is shared amongst the members in proportion to their contribution toward generating that value.
Who can benefit from LifeBahn?
Anyone seeking personal growth, practical life skills, and a collaborative mindset.
What does “The Path to Prosperity” mean?
It means not waiting for someone else to solve your problems, but taking charge of your own destiny. Most importantly, it means taking responsibility for your decisions and your actions.
Ultimately, a healthy society is a self-reliant society, and any help should be with that aim in mind. Helping is not charity, but comes with a sense of responsibility and obligation to the community.
How is LifeBahn different?
It emphasizes collaboration over competition and encourages members to help each other succeed.
In the LifeBahn community we believe that everyone has value they can contribute toward generating value for the community. In fact, their membership in the community is in itself valuable.
Therefore, members contribute their knowledge, experience, expertise, talent, and skills toward generating value for the community, and this value is shared amongst the members in proportion to their contribution toward generating that value.
What is a GREAT Academy?
Educational institutions are an important part of any community. For the LifeBahn community — though virtual — GREAT Academy is its educational platform. It provides guidance, learning, and a practical framework for its members.
What is Education 2.0?
Every educational institution offers a variety of courses and corresponding seminars or classes to better understand the contents of the course, usually in books for that course.
Similarly, GREAT Academy offers only one main course, called Life. Education 2.0 are the corresponding seminars to better understand the contents of that course, contained in the virtual guide called Making Sense of It All.
What is “Making Sense of It All”?
It is the core learning framework that covers life, humanity, prosperity, organizations, and current affairs.
What does self-sufficiency mean?
Taking responsibility for your own life while accepting empowering help from the community with a sense of responsibility and obligation — not as charity.
How does LifeBahn define helping others?
Helping others means:
- Sharing your knowledge, where it is relevant to their aspirations.
- Sharing your experience, where it is useful for planning their journey to success.
- Lending the resources needed to undertake that journey.
- Putting them on the path to prosperity: self-sufficiency and self-reliance.
What can I learn?
Life skills, personal growth, goal setting, routines, financial thinking, emotional well-being, and relationships.
Why is mindset important?
Our mindset functions like our immune system. It is our mindset that determines which actions we take — which of the options available to us are good for us, and which are harmful. That is why mindset is important for leading a meaningful life.
Is LifeBahn only about education?
No. It combines education, community, networking, and resource sharing.
LifeBahn is a virtual community where people help one another succeed by sharing knowledge, experience, and resources. Its mission is to support members on their path toward self-sufficiency and prosperity.
